Rhonda Ferguson’s passion, caring recognized

Ferguson’s impact was recognized with the Colorado Advocacy in Action 2016 Award at a conference in June co-presented by the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault and the Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

Ferguson, a Durango native, is a graduate of Fort Lewis College.

“Rhonda has amazing dedication to the clients we serve,” said Maura Doherty Demko, executive director of SASO, “whether in a law enforcement interview, a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Exam) exam, at court, providing direct service or referring to community resources. She has been an avid and quick learner and is truly invested in changing the world by ending sexual violence.”
