The Durango Farmers Market returns 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 11, in the TBK Bank parking lot, 259 W. Ninth St., and will run through Oct. 26.
To reduce traffic congestion and promote sustainable transportation, the city of Durango and the Durango Farmers Market have teamed up to incentivize riding transit by giving away prizes in two drawings.
Market-goers can pick up free punch passes at the Transit Center, at the Farmers Market information booth, at the city of Durango booth or onboard Durango Transit buses. Transit riders can earn one punch each Saturday they ride Durango Transit. Riders must have at least four punches to be entered into the drawing, which will be held on June 22 and Oct. 26.
Parking across the street in the Transit Center lot is free on weekends. Please avoid parking in the Post Office parking lot.
