Related to the STEAM project story on the front page of the March 26 Herald, the economic and cultural impact of the river-front complex would be truly transformational for Durango and La Plata County. In unique Durango style, combining science, theater, education, arts and music with the beautiful riverwalk setting enhances our community for all age groups. This project is in its infancy, and the planned feasibility study will give critical developmental information. As an advisory group volunteer, I look forward to this vision progressing and thriving with citizen input and support.
