La Plata County has contracted with Four Corners Materials to pave the entire 6.8 miles of road on County Road 203. Work will begin Tuesday and continue through September.
Construction will consist of road improvements, milling in some areas and paving the full length of County Road 203. Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday with occasional weekends, if needed.
Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes; however, every attempt will be made to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and to drive with caution through the work zones, for their own safety and that of the work crews.
