Local pizza lovers and Billy Goat Saloon customers can rejoice as a local pizza restaurateur has returned to the Pine River Valley.

Johnny Bologna has opened Roadhouse Pizza 'n Wings inside the Billy Goat Saloon.

He specializes in hand-tossed, New York style, stone-fired pizza and previously operated Hero's Deli in Ignacio.

The grand opening for the new business is from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, with live music by the Jelly Belly Boogie Band.

There will be free pizza samples and giveaways every hour.

"It's great for us to have fresh hot pizza for our customers, along with our happy hour specials," said Ashleigh Tarkington, owner of the Billy Goat. "We would love people to stop by for the grand opening, or any other time, and check out Roadhouse. And we're still your favorite dive bar!"

Roadhouse offers eat-in, carryout and take and bake pizzas. The wings are hand seasoned and come in hot or barbecue varieties.

For now, Roadhouse is open from 4 to 9 p.m. nightly and 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, with special hours during Broncos games. There are also food specials on weekends for music lovers on Friday, when live music plays at the Goat, and Sunday for the football games.

Roadhouse Pizza can be reached at 884-0313.
