Roadside maintenance is underway on U.S. Highway 550 at Red Mountain Pass (mile-marker 88-90) to verify slope stability and conditions in preparation for winter. If hazardous loose rock is found, traffic will be stopped while the crew removes it.
Northbound and southbound motorists may experience brief traffic delays.
