Visitation for Roberta Ellen Armstrong Barr will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Hood Mortuary, 1261 East Third Ave. A funeral will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church of Durango, 2917 Aspen Drive.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Robert M. and Roberta Armstrong Barr Foundation, P.O. Box 1779, Durango, CO 81302. The foundation funds scholarships for future teachers.
Mrs. Barr died Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at the age of 99. A complete obituary ran Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013.
