The Colorado Department of Transportation was doing minor rock blasting Wednesday about a half mile north of Silverton on U.S. Highway 550.
Traffic was being held for about 15 minutes. The work is being done as part of a project to replace culverts. Motorists can expect single-lane, alternating traffic and minor delays throughout the day.
