Rocks fall on highway near Coal Bank Pass

Colorado Department of Transportation crews are clearing large rocks that fell on U.S. Highway 550 between mile markers 57 and 59, the vicinity of Coal Bank Pass.

The highway was closed, but traffic is being allowed to pass every 15 to 20 minutes. Rock removal began about 2 p.m.
