I am supporting Dwayne Romero for CD3. Dwayne was raised by a single mom in Texas who, he says, taught him how to work hard. Dwayne knows what it’s like for a family to struggle to make ends meet. Following his mother’s example, he worked hard and was accepted to and graduated from West Point, then served overseas, earning a Bronze Star. Dwayne knows combat and the sacrifices our veterans make.
He has three daughters, one who has served in the past and one who is currently serving in our military, so he has “skin in the game” and will not support sending our troops into unnecessary wars. His wife has been a public schoolteacher for 25 years.
Following several years in the military, Dwayne moved to Colorado and created a successful business providing a living wage and excellent benefits to his 100-plus Colorado employees. He has a B.S. from West Point and an MBA in finance and general management from Harvard Business School. Dwayne believes in service to country and community and has held several public offices.
