Rosa Sabido will mark 600 days of being in sanctuary with a vigil at 4 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, 470 W. Grand Ave., in Mancos,.
Participants are invited to bring poems, stories, and music to share around the theme of women who have struggled, survived and changed history. Author and historian Midge Kirk will open the vigil with a story.
A soup, salad and dessert potluck will take place after the readings. During the meal, there will be a letter-writing Call to Action!
