Ryan McGee will speak to the Rotary Club of Durango about the regional politics, cultural factors and economic elements that are driving the ongoing war and what the possible long-term impacts might be for the global community.
The club meeting starts at 6 p.m. April 5 at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
McGee has led public health and foreign assistance programming for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on four continents over the last decade. He spent the last three years living and working in Kyiv until he was evacuated in early February.
