The next Rotary Club of Durango meeting will be at 6 p.m. on May 9, at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
Karen Thompson, training officer at Leadership La Plata, will speak to the club about the organization, which, as part of Durango Chamber of Commerce, develops leadership skills to build a cadre of informed La Plata County residents for the benefit of the community.
