The Rotary Club of Durango will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
Martha Embrey, owner of Management Sciences for Health, will share her experiences in Tanzania, Africa, where she worked for 15 years to increase access to quality medicines and health services in rural areas.
Her company helped develop a program to introduce quality standards for shop premises and workers.
Embrey has a master’s degree in public health and has written several books and scientific publications about international health and water quality.
The meeting is free and open to all.
