The Rotary Club of Durango will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad owner Al Harper will give a talk titled “Durango, Colorado – The Historic Train Capital of the World” about American Heritage Railways.
Harper’s talk will be held leading up to Narrow Gauge Day, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the railroad depot, 479 Main Ave. The event will celebrate the narrow gauge’s history and feature music by the Bar D Wranglers.
The meeting is free and open to all.
