Rotary Club of Durango to host talk about Durango Botanic Gardens

The Durango Botanic Gardens organization will be discussed at a virtual meeting of the Rotary Club of Durango at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Barbara Johnson, vice president and director of marketing, will discuss the gardens’ creation, garden artwork and future plans.

Durango Botanic Gardens is a nonprofit organization that creates public gardens that demonstrate best practices, advance horticultural education and sustainability. One garden for which its members are solely responsible is located behind the Durango Public Library building on the Animas River Trail.
