Rotary Club of Durango to meet

Jackson Clark II will speak to a virtual meeting of the Rotary Club of Durango at 6 p.m. Tuesday via Zoom.

Clark is owner of the Toh-Atin Gallery in Durango, a family business founded in 1957 by his father that specializes in the sale of Southwest Native American arts and crafts.

Clark is the third generation member of his family to be involved in the Native American trading business and an expert in the field of Navajo weaving. His maternal grandfather operated a trading post in Northern New Mexico where his mother grew up. He will speak about the influence of the trading posts on the development and survival of Navajo weaving.

Virtual visitors using Zoom are welcome.
