Roger Ptolemy and Suzi Loether will speak to Rotary Club of Durango about their trip to India earlier this year at 6 p.m. Tuesday via Zoom.
Ptolemy and Loether participated in a “National Immunization Day,” part of Rotary’s global initiative to eradicate polio. This program has helped reduce the occurrence of new polio cases worldwide from more than 350,000 annually in the mid-1980s to only about 70 new cases this year.
