Imogen Ainsworth, sustainability coordinator for the City of Durango, will speak to Rotary Club of Durango at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
She will provide an overview of the city’s sustainability program as well as more detail on two current projects: a Community Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory and a Resilience Framework. Since joining the city government in 2016, Ainsworth has worked on a variety of initiatives, including recycling and sustainability outreach, solar panel feasibility and more.
