Blaine Bailey, executive director of In The Weeds, will speak at a virtual meeting of the Rotary Club on of Durango at 6 p.m. Tuesday via Zoom.
In the Weeds is a nonprofit providing a support system for restaurant and hospitality staff within La Plata County. He will discuss starting the organization and its accomplishments, current activities and future opportunities.
Last April the Rotary Club donated $2,500 to In the Weeds’ collaborative program to fulfill food needs and provide income to furloughed restaurant workers during the COVID-19 crisis.
