The Rotary Club of Durango will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
Fort Lewis College associate professor Heidi Steltzer will give a presentation, “Snow is Good: Let’s Keep it Around.” Steltzer, who is a mountain and arctic scientist, studies the impacts of environmental change on mountain watersheds and arctic ecosystems and how it affects human health.
The meeting is free and open to all.
