Rotarian Holly Vaughn will speak to the Rotary Club of Durango at 6 p.m. Tuesday about the Virginia Hospital Center Medical Brigade, a nonprofit organization that provides an array of health care services to the underserved in Honduras.
The Virginia Hospital Center Medical Brigade’s services in Honduras include provision of health care training and equipment, public health education, surgery and vision-related services. Vaughn has traveled yearly to Honduras since 2007 as part of the food services team.
