Durango Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Jack Llewellyn will speak to Rotary Club of Durango at 6 p.m. Tuesday on Zoom.
Llewellyn will talk about the various organizations that collaborate to overcome adverse situations. During the Gold King Mine spill, the 416 Fire and the pandemic, “coopetition” prevailed, identifying Durango as a resilient community. He will speak to the roles organizations and individuals played to help the community, businesses and individuals thrive.
Before his 16-year tenure at the chamber, Llewellyn was director of the athletic department at Fort Lewis College. Before that, he owned two local businesses and was station manager at KREZ-TV.
Virtual visitors using Zoom are welcome.
