I think the proposed RV park in Animas Valley could be a great benefit to our area. I have stayed in many RV parks of this type around the country over the last 10 years and I believe they make great neighbors.
This quality of park attracts higher caliber RVers who will spend money in our area. They will not be just passing through. The average stay will be days or weeks. It will not be affordable to “full-timers,” using it as a place to live. Traffic should not be a problem because there will not be a big daily turnover.
Let’s take a look at the positive side of this story. If the developer is denied, who would be the next developer?
