The Southwest Colorado Genealogical Society will have its first meeting of 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Twilight Room at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.

A brief business meeting will be held, and members will have opportunities to share family history research and genealogical projects.

The meeting will conclude with the society’s winter potluck. Members are asked to bring a food item to share, and the main dish will be provided by the society.
