Salsa strides

Leslie Carlson, who teaches dance at Animas High School, said her salsa students asked her about doing a flash mob somewhere downtown before the end of the school year. On Tuesday afternoon, a dozen or so of them made it happen by taking advantage of the crosswalk lights at College Drive and Main Avenue, where they strutted their stuff for 30-second intervals in front of a captive audience of drivers.
