San Juan Basin Archaeological Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.
Heather Smith with Eastern New Mexico University will give a presentation about how archaeology in the Southwest has contributed to the understanding of how North America was occupied by humans.
A social will be held before the meeting from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
