Axis Health System and San Juan Basin Public Health have partnered to provide drive-thru COVID-19 testing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays now through Aug. 26 at La Plata Integrated Healthcare clinic, 1970 East Third Ave.
Because this will be a drive-thru testing site, appointments are required to manage traffic concerns and distancing requirements.
No referrals or doctors’ orders are needed. Testing is open to all members of the community. There is no fee for this testing.
The COVID-19 tests have been provided by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment in an effort to expand community testing efforts throughout Colorado. People who are part of this community testing effort will be contacted by a medical provider from La Plata Integrated Healthcare with their results.
