San Juan Basin Public Health hires 2

San Juan Basin Public Health recently hired two to its team.

Kristin D. Pulatie was hired as director of assessment and planning. In her new position, Pulatie will assess community needs and agency processes to design future programs and improve public health. She has experience in health-emergency management, health and human services, and law, and has earned a psychology degree from University of Colorado at Boulder, a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law and a Public Health masters degree from University of Illinois.

Layla Vaughan was hired as case manager and administrative assistant for the options for long-term care program. Vaughan will coordinate services for elderly and disabled clients to receive long-term care without nursing-facility placement. She holds a psychology-social public health degree from Fort Lewis College.
