In order to improve efficiency and expediency of processing COVID-19 tests, San Juan Basin Public Health is sending its COVID-19 test samples to a laboratory in California as of Thursday.
The move to a new lab will result in faster turnaround times for individuals to receive email notification that their test result is available in three to five days. Individuals will access their results on a privacy-protected portal. After testing, individuals will receive specific information about how to access results and self-quarantine information.
