San Juan Basin Public Health reminds everyone to take important steps on Halloween to protect their self and others from getting or spreading COVID-19.
Because traditional Halloween activities can be high-risk for spreading the virus, consider virtual Halloween activities such as Zoom costume contests or Zoom scary movie “get-togethers.”
For safer one-way trick-or-treating, provide grab-and-go goodie bags.
Any social gatherings should follow the state Safer at Home order; limited to 10 people from no more than two households.
High risk activities such as traditional trick-or-treating should be avoided.
