San Juan Basin Public Health will provide free radon workshops and test kits in honor of Radon Awareness Month.

Radon gas can be deadly. It has no odor or taste, is not visible and occurs naturally in the soil. It enters homes and buildings through small openings.

Workshops are scheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 26 and Feb. 16 and noon Feb. 2. Participants will receive as many at-home testing kits as needed.

Workshops will be held via Zoom.
