San Juan College has extended the stay-at-home order for nonessential employees from April 10 to April 30. This decision was made in support of public health and safety, as well as to comply with Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s directive.
The SJC campus will remain closed to visitors and students through April 30, and has canceled all events through that date as well.
The college also extended the delivery of online classes through the end of the spring 2020 semester.
SJC graduation ceremonies have also been postponed until further notice. While the campus is currently closed, advisers will be available by phone and online for students to begin registering April 20 for summer and fall classes.
Students needing additional assistance may contact the Student Achievement Center at achievement@sanjuancollege.edu. They should also continue to check their email for information about the extended closure, their class structure, tutoring and other support services.
The college encourages everyone to stay at home and continue to use precautionary and preventive measures to keep our community safe.
