San Juan College will offer a free webinar to answer questions about Economic Income Payments, taxes on unemployment payments and filing taxes electronically at noon Saturday via Zoom.
The webinar is offered through Four Corners Low Income Tax Clinic and is designed as an educational workshop for taxpayers to correctly figure out the amount of taxes to be taken out of each unemployment check to avoid a high tax bill at the end of the year. How to file taxes electronically and answer questions about the Economic Income Payments will also be covered
Four Corners Low Income Taxpayer Clinic offers free tax help to low income taxpayers and limited English-speaking taxpayers who have a dispute with the Internal Revenue Service. A Spanish language interpreter will be available.
