Businesses who are ready to launch, expand or relocate an outdoor recreation business in San Juan County, New Mexico, are invited to attend a free Outdoor Recreation Industry Initiative Basecamp event from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 7 at the San Juan College School of Energy in the Merrion Room.
Speakers will discuss advice on marketing an outdoor recreation businesses, how businesses can jumpstart the summer season, updates on the city’s outdoor recreation initiatives, information on operating on BLM land and the permitting process and product diversification. Tours of The Big Idea makerspace will also be available and a resource fair for business owners will take place.
