The 37,552-square-foot campus housing facility will be located on the SJC Farmington Campus on the corner of Sunrise Parkway and Education Drive. The 150-bed, three-floor building will have one-, two- and four-bed units and will provide an array of amenities for residents.
The San Juan College board of trustees recently approved $10,532,138 as the guaranteed maximum price of construction during its Feb. 2 meeting. Dekker, Perich and Sabatini provided the architectural design for the building, while Jaynes Corporation will serve as the project construction manager. Construction is expected to take about 14 months, with the project being completed by spring of 2022.
