As of Thursday, only 49.9% of San Juan County, N.M., has self-responded to the census.
The San Juan County Complete Count Committee has secured several community partners to encourage community members to complete the census.
Buffalo Wild Wings is offering a “kids eat free” promotion through Wednesday with a Census Completion Confirmation (screenshot, printout, etc.). Up to two children may eat free with any dine-in or carry-out order. There will also be a digital kiosk available for customers to complete their census any time Buffalo Wild Wings is open.
San Juan County Counts will be at Chef Bernie’s on Friday from 1 to 4 p.m., sponsoring a buy-one, get-one event. For any meal purchased, San Juan County Counts will purchase the second meal. There will be giveaways during that time and a digital kiosk for customers to complete the census.
