This alternative to in-person care helps to ensure patients are able to stay at home and practice social distancing while continuing to receive the healthcare services. This method of care helps patients avoid unnecessary urgent care and/or emergency department visits, freeing up critical resources to assist patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, and helps stop the spread of illness and flatten the curve.
Those in need of medical care may call the clinic’s main phone number to schedule an appointment. A customer service representative will call patients to check them in for the virtual visit and provide instructions on accessing the video visit via smartphone or tablet/computer.
