San Juan Regional Medical Center announces 2020-21 board of directors

San Juan Regional Medical Center has announced its 2020-21 board of directors, approved at a recent corporation meeting.

Sherry Galloway is now serving as board chair, representing the Farmington Rotary. She has been on the board since 2017, most recently serving two years as first vice chair. Ron Rosen, who represents the Farmington Chamber of Commerce, will now serve on the board as immediate past chair. John Byrom, who represents Four Corners Economic Development, is now serving as the first vice chair. Dr. Jason Lucas, orthopedic surgeon at Orthopedic Associates, is now serving as chief of staff after spending the past two years as vice chief of staff. Outgoing Chief of Staff Dr. Damon Kalcich, general surgeon at San Juan Health Partners General Surgery, has completed his term on the board. Dr. Denise Chavez, hospitalist at San Juan Regional Medical Center, has joined the board as vice chief of staff.A new member, Sam Gonzales, was elected to the board at the meeting to replace Bruce Glade, who has moved out of the area. Gonzales, who represents Pinon Hills Community Church, will serve a three-year term. San Juan Regional Medical Center would like to thank Bruce Glade for his six years of service to the board.
