San Juan Regional Medical Center has added a new option in its efforts to help the community navigate through the COVID-19 outbreak, a COVID-19 screening line.
The phone line can be reached at (505) 675-4722 and will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through Friday this week, and expanding hours to 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Monday and continuing indefinitely.
A registered nurse will be answering calls for those with questions about COVID-19 screening. By doing this remotely via phone, providers will be able to reduce exposure of ill people and follow the governor’s orders to help people stay at home and practice social distancing.
