San Juan Regional Medical Center will offer external assessments by appointment only, starting next week.
People who are experiencing cold and flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, body aches, sore throat and runny nose, are encouraged to call the COVID-19 screening line from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at (505) 675-4722 to speak to a registered nurse.
If deemed necessary, an appointment will be set up for patients to drive through and be evaluated at the external assessment area. Having an appointment does not guarantee testing for COVID-19. During the evaluation, the provider performing the assessment will make that final determination.
