The San Juan Title II Resource Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at the San Juan Public Lands Center, 15 Burnett Court, to review past projects and propose new projects to be funded under the Title II provision of the Secure Rural Schools Act.
A public comment period will be offered at 10:15 a.m. People who want to bring related matters to the attention of the committee can file written statements with staff before or after the meeting.
Title II funding is targeted toward projects that propose watershed restoration, maintenance or decommissioning of roads, noxious weed management, forest health and other improvements that benefit the San Juan National Forest.
