I am so pleased that the city of Durango has chosen to be financially responsible for the criminal and civil acts of undocumented immigrants while in the protection of Durango’s sanctuary status, being that undocumented immigrants probably have no financial resources of their own. It took a lot of deep thinking to violate their oath of office in upholding the laws of the country and the state of Colorado and to expose the city to lawsuits.
