Sexual Assault Services Organization will host a community conversation about elder abuse from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on Zoom.
The conversation will be facilitated by Charmaine Summers from Adult Protective Services and Anne DiZenzo, a senior reach therapist with Axis Health System.
Topics covered will include the risk for sexual violence in the elderly community, protective factors against sexual violence and resources within La Plata County to support the elderly community.
