Paul Jones and the groundswell of Democrats, Republicans and independents who are coming together to challenge politics-as-usual have the party establishments running very scared.
That’s why the “Our Colorado Values” Super PAC launched a six-figure campaign attacking the organization I run, Unite Colorado, as a “shady out-of-state” group supporting Jones.
Truth is, Unite Colorado is based in Colorado and, like Jones, 100 percent of our donors are real people, whom we disclose.
Our only goal is to level the playing field with both political parties to help elect independent candidates who can bridge the growing partisan divide.
On the contrary, Our Colorado Values, like incumbent Rep. Barbara McLachlan, is bankrolled by corporations, PACs and special interests. That’s literally where 99 percent of their money comes from.

Out of pure desperation to keep their power, the party machine and their “donors” (really, owners) are trying to scare and confuse voters.
Fortunately, you get to vote – they don’t.
This is your government, not theirs.
