Schirard’s life has been open book

As I’m sitting here watching my boys play and praying that their future is not extremely hard for them because of how much our country has changed, I’ve decided to write a letter to my community, asking that you please vote for the right man for the job! I’ve known Sheriff Schirard all of my life as I was friends with his daughter, so, with that, I was able to spend lots of nights in their loving and welcoming home! I must say, that unfortunately, Duke’s having lived here for most of his life has meant that he has lived with his life as an open book – unlike Sean Smith, who has only lived here for a few years. Maybe the book is opened a little, but we all know everyone has skeletons in our closets.

As I talked to Smith on Independence Day, I heard him say he and his wife work for Schirard. Well, with not having anything nice to say about him, I’m confused about why Smith would continue to have himself and his wife work for Schirard. In my experience, if I have not liked my employer, I have found another job. Maybe Schirard is not horrible like Smith says! I know I’ve never seen Schirard behave the way Smith has described, and I’ve been pretty close to him and his family!

Please, everyone vote for the right man: Duke Schirard. He has done a wonderful job for our county, and I’m confident he will continue to do so!
