All are welcome for the second annual Bayfield Schools and Community Welcome Fair. This is an open-house gathering for residents to make connections, learn more about different organizations, and talk to people in an informal environment.
"We know how busy people are, and this will offer you a one-stop-shopping opportunity to meet with various organizations," said Mark Hauessler, president of Alpine Leadership, which is organizing the event. Participants can meet principals, counselors, find out where to get help, volunteer for the PTSA, join Scouts, learn what a school accountability committee is, and, well, you get the idea.
The event is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the commons at Bayfield Intermediate School. Complimentary snacks will be provided.
