The Ignacio School District will have a ribbon cutting for its new transportation department building from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Thursday, April 14. The facility is located at 500 County Road 319. This is the final building the district built with its $50 million bond issue.

The district also is selling some old furniture April 16 and 23. The sale is from 8 am. to 2 p.m. each Saturday, in the lot across from Ignacio High School on Becker Street, where the school's storage trailers are located. Donations will be taken for the school board's scholarship fund. First come, first served, weather permitting.
