A “Parents for Safer Schools” meeting will be held at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
The meeting will advocate for increased security and a safer environment for students who attend Durango schools. Discussion topics include full-time school resource officers, closed campus, identification scanners and more.
The meeting is free and open to all.
