Schoolmates connect at Bayfield museum

Visiting the Pine River Valley Heritage Museum in July, Rita Wieland Horten from Cottonwood, Ariz., returned for a second straight day, intent on finding her childhood photo in an old school yearbook.

Bingo: There she was in second grade in 1958. Just then, 69-year-old Barney Dunn walked by and took a look.

"That's my sister," he said, pointing to the girl next to Rita. Then we found Barney on the next page of third-graders.
